Apart from the Javelins will the RRF BN need a larger anti-tank gun (never likely to be supplied by us) or Missile (something in the HOT/TOW class) in the cavalry role or will the force have to sit and wait for someone else to rescue the charred remains of our Cav if they stumble across a platoon of T-72s ambling about?

Frankly, I'd say that the Javelin would be quite sufficient for pretty much any form of attack that would come along. Lines of sight greater than 2500m aren't all that common in Europe.
