they seem to have been the ultimate in Naval Gucci Kit at the time. Bit Like the Blue 'Wog' jackets had on her 1986 Leb Trip..

yes they were part of the deck kit.. we had them on grainne and some bright spark sent them away to the wrong laundry they were probably washed at 1000 degrees so we got them back about the size of baby grows... it was the same with the sleeping bags we got.. then along came the blue rehab foul weather gear we thought we were in heaven ...... to think of what they have now..
It looks like someone bought a job lot off Pinewood Studios after they made "In which we serve" and they threw it the "Sons of the Desert" stuff for free
