    PHELAN (Cobh): On February 8, 2009, peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife and family, at Marymount Hospice, FERGUS, late of Willow Drive and Naval Service, beloved husband of Kay and loving son of Pat and June and dear brother of Sharon, Amanda, Elizabeth and Kelley. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, mam, dad, sisters, nephew Quin, brothers-in-law Tomás, Philip, Hugh, Shane and James, sister-in-law Ann, mother-in-law Felicity, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Cobh Hospital Mortuary. Rosary on this (Monday) evening at 7.30pm. Removal on tomorrow (Tuesday) at 8.30pm to St Colman's Cathedral. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon, followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.(All Welcome). Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, to Marymount Hospice.

          Prior to joining the Naval Service, Fergus was a member of the 4AD.
