IN MEMORY OF PRIVATE JOE KERRIGAN
1st INFANTRY BATTALION.
(EX 28th INFANTRY BATTALION)
Who lost his fight for life on the 21 April 1998.
Aged 37 Years.
+ May You Rest In Peace +
Gone But Not Forgotten.
From your daughters Michelle & Rachel.
The poem is taken from Joe's Memorial Card, (the pictures used on the card were from an album of pictures taken by me on the day of Joe funeral in Westport, and presented to his family,) after which I climbed the Reek (Croagh Patrick) and placed a wreath in memory of Joe, who was raised in the area as a child.

" I Miss You.
The world is turning,
People die,
I'll see you again,
I really miss you Dad,
Every day people die,
And a new person comes,
I'll see you again,
When I do,
Everywhere I go,
You'll be there,
You will watch down on me,
for ever and ever,
Amen."
Poem by Michelle.
