Here's an interesting UAV, the Neptune from DRS technologies. The novel thing about this UAV is that it can land & be recovered from water. Would something like this be useful aboard NS vessels?

Yes definetly...had this been available 10 years ago there would have been no requirement to Buy helicopters for the Eithne.Probably just as expensive but far easier to operate than a helo....I was worried about the recovery options but as the photo shows it floats....could still be an option in the fishery protection role....Why not send it to the Df suggestion box.?Covid 19 is not over ....it's still very real..Hand Hygiene, Social Distancing and Masks.. keep safeComment
