Fair enough. Do you think there'll be a scaling back, downsizing or mothballing of assets over the life of the current parliament?
it's an SDR so things tend to get smaller not bigger and given the current financial climate you can be sure lots will go but hopefully we will get a more efficient and focussed air force out of it.

US troops have often called in British fast air aswell as British troops often calling in American fast air.
obviously the US have more than the British, but likewise the British have considerably more than other nations. at least most of our pilots are engaged in combat sorties in one way or another at some stage of their career and constantly go on exchanges with other air forces.
