    Mr. Bernard SWEENEY ex-Corporal and Jodoville Hero of the Congo UN Mission

    The death has occurred of Mr. Bernard SWEENEY of 14 John Paul Park, Athlone, Westmeath,

    Ex-Corporal and another Jodoville Hero of the Congo UN Mission.

    Formerly of Belgium Square, Monaghan.

    Reposing at his residence.

    House Private on Saturday morning, Please.

    Requiem mass at 10.30am on Saturday morning in St. Mary's Church, Athlone, with burial afterwards in Cornamagh Cemetery.

    Sympathy & Condolences to his Family, Friends & Comrades.

          Rest In Peace.

          At least these men were vindicated for their actions and went to their graves as heroes.
          Covid 19 is not over ....it's still very real..Hand Hygiene, Social Distancing and Masks.. keep safe
