Mountain Warehouse are offering a 10% discount to all DF pers. on production of an id card.
The only location I know about is the one in the blanchardstown centre.
They do have some good kit but its mostly for hiking/camping.
Sounds good.
Assume though its a DF Id card?
If so then can RDF use some other form of ID as DF havent yet issued them to us.
"He is an enemy officer taken in battle and entitled to fair treatment."
"No, sir. He's a sergeant, and they don't deserve no respect at all, sir. I should know. They're cunning and artful, if they're any good. I wouldn't mind if he was an officer, sir. But sergeants are clever."

was just in there today and seen the offer and asked.
but im guessing any mil. id will do.
even RDFRA id.
i dont think the staff are too concerned.
Do many shops offer a DF discount? I know Great Outdoors do as well. Same conditions.
I knew a simple soldier boy.....
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.
In winter trenches, cowed and glum,
With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
He put a bullet through his brain.
And no one spoke of him again.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.
Team alpha gave me a discount once. Not sure if its standard of if the girl on the phone just liked my boyish charm and witty banter.
