  • PO/Sea Ian (Babs) Cronin

It is with deepest regret that I mention the passing of Ian Cronin, a native of Clonmel .

I served with Ian many years ago and even then he was a gentleman beyond his years.

Ian was of the old school, good seaman, good service man, good friend to all those who knew him.

Probably the DFs last lost of 2013 but will be remembered for far more than that

Judging by the Facebook comments alone on his passing, he will be a huge loss.
      Rest in Peace.
