Just noticed for the last week on Marine Traffic a French Warship has been stationary off the Cork Coast

Its been there longer than that. Since 1978 approx.
For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

Presumably it's "parked" in international waters so it's as welcome as a Russian "Bear" then. The French built two of these for Russia but decided to transfer them to a much more "western and freedom loving" Egypt instead at a knock down price.

Funny how after France sent them to Egypt, Hollande was making an appearance with Putin in Russia after what happened in Paris. Geopolitics is interesting.
What are you cackling at, fatty? Too much pie, that's your problem.

Crew of that vessel rotate through EICK by EC135 regularly. Gas men & women, the lot of them.

It seems to me she may be on trials/and or broken down. using MMSI 999999996 a second ship seems to be close by on 19th Dec, just south of Cork Harbour. No doubt CRS and the Irish Navy will know the story.

So the AIS is wrong with regard to the "vessel" then?

The track also shows it is moving?
