  • LE Aisling At Galway

    Hi Guys

I have posted some nice photos of LE Aisling during a recent visit to Galway, she was open to the public on Saturday the 17th Sept and a very big crowd turned up to visit her.

Ignore the heading under the photos of the Naval Rib as belonging to the Aisling it was in fact from the LE Roisin which was anchored in the Bay after escorting an Irish Trawler into Galway, It will be corrected at the next update.

Check out the pictures at www.galwayships.com

    Regards

There is no problem that cannot be fixed with high explosive.

Yes. Her funnel mascot is a giveaway, when the pennant number is not visible.

Another of the class, L.E. Emer(Pepe le Pew) was tied up in Cork City Quays earlier today but left this evening.
