  • Memoriam: Cpl Mick McCarthy

On this Day (15/11/91), 14 years ago, Cpl Mick McCarthy gave his life in the cause of Peace in the village of At-Tiri, South Lebanon. Mick was as gentle a soul as could be found, and today i would ask all members to think of Mick and the large Family he left behind. (R.I.P.)

It is only by contemplation of the incompetent that we can appreciate the difficulties and accomplishments of the competent.

If I tell you, I'll have to kill you,
If I kill you I'll have to eat you.
                        So, any questions?

"I have never accepted what many people have kindly said, namely that I inspired the Nation. It was the nation and the race dwelling around the globe that had the lion heart. I had the luck to be called upon to give the roar"
