Anyone know what type of tank this is? meaning the modified part in particular?
One assumes it is used by the Israelis for shooting young rock throwing Palestinian teenagers in the refugee camps :(
It started out in life as an M113, I guess they've modified it a bit for the internal security role. The turret package reminds me a lot of the modifications they made to the D-9 bulldozers.
There is another varient with a one-man "turret" (in reality more a stubby tube) with vertical curved sides, much like the adhoc armour being added in Iraq, but properly made (and painted!).
