Not questioning but wondering- how come a blatantly promotional video such as the Welsh Guards clip for the BA is acceptable, but a post outlining a serious article from a serious newspaper about one of the most senior Land Commanders in the BA resigning is off-topic.

I would have thought an Irishmen on this site thinking of joining the BA should be allowed to make his own mind up- instead of not-so-subtle propaganda and recruitment videos on a daily basis by RGJ the considered views of Gen.McKay would also be important. Balance.

I am not convinced that these postings are not efforts by BA recruitment-to my mind the site is in the process of being hi-jacked. It is hard to find a page that does not have recruitment tags somewhere for BA units. Given time with a few more BA posters the IMO site will have defaulted to just being a BA advert. It might as well be called RGJ Online.

I thought that the recent contribution from WES was interesting on this.
