Not that I've heard, most people are staying well away from it after the organizer was ousted as a walt!! So there is as far as I know no official involvement on either side of the water. Shame as was great event!

There is actually huge interest in it this year (on this side of the water at least). There is plans for a Platoon sized team and other teams are being organised. Unfortunately the date clashes with another event I must attend so I cannnot go. Will probably be the largest Irish involvement ever.

Have about 12-15 names on the training list. We'll see who's going to commit this month

I know a few ones interested aswell, whats happened with the organiser?
I knew a simple soldier boy.....
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.

In winter trenches, cowed and glum,
With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
He put a bullet through his brain.
And no one spoke of him again.

You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.
