  • ....and the first thing that will happen when the Q Stores gets it's hands on the cars, officially, is that the "gardening" tools will be put away safely to prevent "redistribution" and will only re-appear on GOC's Inspections

      • The RG in the video clip appears to have a larger cargo space than the version we are getting....

              • To get back on track has the Garageing in Athlone for them been completed yet?If there is no place to store them there is no point delivering them yet.

His casualties are heavier, he suffers greater extremes of discomfort and fatigue than the other arms. Thirdly, the art of the infantryman is less stereotyped and far harder to acquire in modern war than that of any other arm." ------- Field Marshall Wavell, April 1945.

surely there are enough garages to house a few more vehicles somewhere suitable within the Irish DF?!?

p|ss poor planning and preparation if someone hasn't thought this through.

Garaging will mean they are less exposed to the elements and therefore the body will last longer.

                      • I'm sure the Panhard Garages in Cork would work fine for them. Climate controlled too.

No one said that, in fact no one has said that the lack of garaging is delaying anything.
