LE Niamh is coming into Dublin too. Interesting to see that while the USS Nicholas is due to depart at 1000 on Monday 14th, Niamh and the Spanish and Portuguese frigates are all due to leave together at 1159 (on the dot!). I wonder will they go down the river in line - that would quite a sight. HMS Northumberland - a Type 23 frigate - stays on for another couple of days. (http://booking.dublinport.ie/dpcweb)

Does anybody have any knowledge of other Navy ships due to visit Dublin in the coming months?

              Thank you.

The Germans have 2 Frigates in Cork as of this afternoon, and they seemed to be open to public tours, but I only passed by so I cannot be sure. Impressive all the same
What are you cackling at, fatty? Too much pie, that's your problem.

Yes, a Meko 200. Similar ships although with possible sensor and armament changes are with Turkey, Greece, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, with I believe the latest version in South Africa.

Was there a NATO exercise on recently in the vicinity? Is that why we're having these visitors all at once?

You Know, I was looking at another website recently, and it had Photos of Standing Naval Maritime Group 1(SNMG1) in Copenhagen.
And the ships that visited were....
F101 SPS Alvaro de Bazan, F103 SPS Blas De Lezo (Spain),F209 Rheinland-Pfalz (Germany) and F330 Vasco de Gama (Portugal)
NATO force SNMG1 Standing Maritime Group ONE visited Copenhagen this week. I took some photos of the 4 frigates F101 SPS Alvaro de Bazan, F103 SPS Bla

Perhaps Niamh was assisting them in their activities too?
