True, but don't ever underestimate the ability of people to overlook common sense, especially with all the 'mis-information' spun out by the fitness industry.
The dude at the start of that video standing up holding the barbell overhead with one arm was seriously impressive.
TRX is good. I got so I could train any where. might be cheaper to get a set of rings if you wont be doing full body work out. get a good kettlebell and beast yourself and you have a home gym
walking lunges 32kg X 4 X 20 steps
Bent over rows 60 kg X 4 X 10
Deadlift 70kg X 4 X 10
Push up off bars 20 X 4
Push press KB 18kg X 4 X 8
weighte crunches 16kg X 4 X 20
Currently doing 5 circuit trg sessions a week. Mon, 2 X Tues (Morning + Evening), Thurs (Morning and Evening)
Real commitment needed to get up at 0600 to go straight into circuits for an hour but its paying off.
Circuits are different every time so body aint getting used to it at any stage.
Last Monday was a tough one.
5 half laps of soccer pitch.
Few light stretches.
20 x 16kg KB swings
10 x each arm clean and jerk 16kg KB
10 x each leg fwd/rev lunges 16kg KB
15 x squats 16kg KB
2 x shuttle runs (up/down) with 2 x 16kg KBs
Repeat by 3 (dropping 2 reps per cycle) Apart form shuttle runs
15 x 16kg KB swings
20 x Frog Jumps
10 x mixed pushups ( open arm, normal, closed )
lizard crawl back
30 x cycle crunches
Repeat by 2 ( increase frog jumps by 10 and pushups by 5)
15 x 16kg KB swings
10 x each leg fwd/rev lunges
10 x Goblet lift (sitting) 16 kg KB
30 sec plank
2 x 40m sprints.
Repeat by 2
3 half laps of pitch with small ramp at each lap.
Warm down
Stretch.

Jesus, thats a good 5 plus years of a gym membership!!! But if you are going to use it, then why not!! If I was doing similar, I would probably have spent in and around the same, but wouldn't have bothered with a Treadmill or cross trainer. I mean you can run outside, so why bother with a treadmill.

You'd love my gym Zulu. As an S&C gym, we get all our conditioning via similar ways to yours (set+rounds of KB exercises etc for time). Check out this and compare our conditioning sessions to yours. Your conditioning looks pretty sweet all the same!
