So is it correct to say private numbers have reduced by 2/3s since 2012? And as corporal numbers have reduced by just over 50% in the same time, it isnt because of promotions...
Bears out the experience of this private, one of maybe 20 in 2012 in the unit, 1 of 3 regular private paraders today.
With the same rate of decay, in 5 years time, the capts and lts will have one private each to command.
A sad state of affairs.
