    Naval Ship Movements

    NB This thread is for information in the public domain ONLY! This applies to Irish and Foreign Naval movements and is intended to enable people to take pictures of the relevant vessals. If you are aware that ship visits to the public are being allowed then please make a note of this on this thread.

    No pictures to be posted on this thread, it is an information only thread and any pictures or debates will be split off to other threads as appropriate.

    As a part of this you are requested NOT to draw attention to any unscheduled departures of any operational vessal due to the possibility of the departure being related to ongoing security operations. Departures due to Search and Rescue operations can be reported.

    LE Aoife is due to dock in Dublin port at 19:30 on 14/02/2009, due to depart at 11:59 on 15/02/2009 (Source Dublin Port)

    LE Ciara left Dublin Port today at 12:51 (Source Dublin Port)

    LE Emer due to lave Dublin Port on 2nd March at 11:00

    Primauguet (French Navy) due into Dublin Port on the 6th March at 11:59, departing on 9th March at 11:59

    (11.59 may indicate arrival/departure time is not yet confirmed, it may also be the time when tides are suitable on both days so check the dublin port website for updates if intending to travel to view arrival/departure)

    I wonder where else is he referring to? AIS does not reveal locations of Naval Vessels unless they are in port.

    AIS is currently Showing HMS Mersey to be along side in Cork City Quays.

    L.E. Eithne Along side at Haulbowline...someone left the AIS turned on..
