  • And just like that, they are out, and enjoying the sights and sounds of Cyprus.
    Beirut still looking pretty ropey.

Yesterday L.E. SAMUEL BECKETT #P61 berthed in Beiruit to offload mission critical stores to #UNIFIL and #UNDOF The ship is now in Cyprus for a port visit and R&R before the start of the return voyage home. Enjoy the well earned break.

For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

          Hope everyone aboard is safe.
What are you cackling at, fatty? Too much pie, that's your problem.

          • My sources in Naval Base say (a) P51 is at sea (b) possibly FORST exercise, on a ship alongside. Someone saw people with firefighting gear, presumed fire.

              • Nothing better to boost morale (and get certain types out of hiding) than a foreign trip.

It probably feels like a visit to Rathmullen , wet and windy.

                              • LÉ George Bernard Shaw is in London this weekend.

It was the year of fire...the year of destruction...the year we took back what was ours.
It was the year of rebirth...the year of great sadness...the year of pain...and the year of joy.
It was a new age...It was the end of history.
It was the year everything changed.
