first used by the british/italian in ww1 the lancia proved to be a very reliable and sturdy cheep armoured lorry used in ireland from the war of independence till the 1940s considering the amount of these vehicle that were produced there are very fue survivors,, there is one in ireland (north) that was restored in the 90s she is an x ruc and is at the ruc museum in belfast there is also belived to be one in the uk (private owner) and one in italy in a museum (x ww1) "if you have any info please add"

i did not know there was a restored lancia around,,
over 50 of the lancia armoured cars were converted into rail going cars in 1923 by the rprmc (railway protection repair & maintenance corps) at the inchicore railway works in dublin.
also from 1921-1923 the works also upgraded a lot of the lancia's including fitting the wire gage screens some of these lancia serviced with the ruc,raf and the british army in irag in the early 20s
