"Let us be clear about three facts. First, all battles and all wars are won in the end by the infantryman. Secondly, the infantryman always bears the brunt. His casualties are heavier, he suffers greater extremes of discomfort and fatigue than the other arms. Thirdly, the art of the infantryman is less stereotyped and far harder to acquire in modern war than that of any other arm." ------- Field Marshall Wavell, April 1945.

This'll be an excellent bit of kit to have.
As part of the @DF_Engineers equipment development plan, two Rapidly Emplaced Bridge Systems (REBS) will be received in 2019/20. These systems will greatly increase mobility for the @defenceforces, particularly for Overseas Operations and will assist local authorities in #ATCA pic.twitter.com/PPgu5shOaS

It won't be attached to a Mowag here though, it'll be a DROPS package. Shame.Last edited by na grohmiti; 6 July 2019, 14:01.For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

The bigger the order the better the price.
But if we got 30 years out of the M3, the DoD will have no intention of replacing them until 2031 at the earliest.
Forgetting completely that both risk and levels of protection have changed dramatically since these were chosen at the end of the last century. For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

Cheaper to buy the non-U.K. version I think but then again they may give a good price
But the MOWAGs are currently being upgraded so
