We had whitewashed ceremonial rifle straps, which always flaked off, for the FN until they brought in some actual white straps (polyester) and items of white webbing, which were much easier to use and maintain.

More so,the Air Corps officers uniform needs a belt, the Ned Kelly is too obvious without it.

thats from all the cheap beer in the officers mess in the don but i do aggree he could do with a belt i thought the Air Corp officeres had belts with the Air Corp insigna on the buckle

Can't understand why RTE didn't show it live. They are showing "a wedding" live on friday.....

I think it's a discrace that RTE dident show it live but from what i did see it was an excellant turn out all around and the Army put on fantastic show make's me proud to have been a soldier
