works for me too on another computer.
Just tried from a different computer, in a different browser, separate VPN, and logged out. Still no joy.
no joy for me either
Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.
Just tried my phone too, no joy.
Are you able to see it as the poster, and Trell able to see as a mod?
Cambrian patrol 2013 is finished.Irish team took part for the first time this year.Winners of the DF recce concentration earlier this year AFAIK.Any of our BA copusins know how our lads got on??http://www.army.mod.uk/news/25847.aspx
"Let us be clear about three facts:First of all.All battles and all wars are won in the end by the Infantryman.Secondly the Infantryman bears the brunt of the fighting, his casualties are heavier and he suffers greater extremes of fatigue and discomfort than the other arms.Thirdly, the art of the Infantryman is less stereotyped and harder to acquire than that of any other arm".
-- Field Marshall Earl Wavell.1948
Yes the team was made up of the winners of this years Recce Concentration plus a number of others from the same unit. They got a silver medal what ever that equals too.
RoyalGreenJacket your unit seems to have given them a hard time in Wales, kicking them out of some of the facilities as soon as the seen they were Irish.
Sorry to hear that Rhodes.
Did it have any impact on the lads' performance on the patrol? I hope it didn't taint any future endeavours with the Cambrian Patrol, this seems like a good thing going forward.
i ****ing dispair sometimes, i really do.
Silver is a decent result and well done on that - that's what we achieved on ours but we lost a bloke (no duff casualty).
as for the alleged mistreatment - none of us can comment until we know the details.
was 1RIFLES the hosting unit for ONH?

Top left corner
Stay alert in the coming years for the Canadian Patrol Concentration (CPC); the first (trial) serial was held this year in Wainwright, Alberta. The trial was done with section-sized teams, but the intent is for platoon-sized fighting patrols.
The concentration wil be held annually, in different locations: mountains, arctic, plains, woodland.
Here are a few pics from the trial this year:

"On the plains of hesitation, bleach the bones of countless millions, who on the very dawn of victory, laid down to rest, and in resting died.
Never give up!!"
ooh, looks like a superb opportunity for a jolly, err... i mean a challenging training opportunity that reforges blah blah blah...
please, not in bug season. something coolish, but not telephone-number-cold, and in the mountains would be great. a nice long patrolling ex would be very good news - say about a 2 weeker with a hels resup, and no bugs. did i mention no bugs?
