    Issued Medics Chest Rig?

Has anyone any pictures of the Issued Medics Chest Rig/ Battlevest ?? By the looks of it theres a large medic pouch in place of the mag pouchs on the right hand side is that correct? I heard there was a modified chest rig for Aer Corps Ops and another for Medics, Has anyone any good pics of them? Only ones iv seen are from a recent camp and arent that clear!!

A medic I know has one on issue.

It looks literally exactly the same as the issue vest, only it has that medic pouch you were on about in place of the mag pouches.

It's Ireland. When do you NOT need to be issued with wetgear?
'He died who loved to live,' they'll say,
'Unselfishly so we might have today!'
    Like hell! He fought because he had to fight;
He died that's all. It was his unlucky night.

So you would think, Some CQs break out in a sweat at the thought of issuing such items! What am I saying the RDF cannot operate in anything other than warm weather why would we want wetgear??

I knew a simple soldier boy.....
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.

In winter trenches, cowed and glum,
With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
He put a bullet through his brain.
And no one spoke of him again.

You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.
