Hi, I have two assault vests to sell and thought you guys would be interested in this stuff.I bought these before the army started issuing us our own vests.
The first vest is made by web tex, and is in very good condition, all buckles are perfect. It features two zipper pouches on either side and a pistol holster inside one of them. . Im asking 50 euro plus postage.

second vest is very similar but is in Irish dpm and was made by protac .It is not an issued vest. This also has 2 zipper pouches on either side with a pistol holster in one side.also on the back is a pouch for a platypus or other hydration system. All buckles are working. . also asking 50 euro plus postage for this.
Both these vests were used in Liberia but are in good condition.
Also for sale is a lowe alpine saracen bergan idntical to the Pdf issue pack but in british dpm, perfect unused condition 100 euro
I accept postal order or paypal or I can meet face to face in the Athlone town/Roscommon town area.
    Thanks for looking guys.

I've come into possession of an exers 58 pattern webbing. Are the army still taking this back into stores?

"No, sir. He's a sergeant, and they don't deserve no respect at all, sir. I should know. They're cunning and artful, if they're any good. I wouldn't mind if he was an officer, sir. But sergeants are clever."

that's a damn good backpack for everyday use. Mine is six years old, used daily to carry about 20-25 lb of kit, and still going strong.

There are two side pockets (with a pocket in each) that holds a 750 ml flask(on one side) or two 500 ml bottles of water (on the other). I'm beginning to guess why my work bag is so heavy!

The back is a big pocket designed for a Camalback, with Velcro slots in the main backpack for the hose. I use it to carry an A4 folder full of paperwork (and the paper / magazines (the reading type!). This has a "hard" cushioned back, and would fit a laptop/iPad.

If you search on YouTube there used to be a video showing the pack.

No, it's set up for a bladder based hydration system, but the sides and front are molle so you could add any pouches of your choice
