      The standard of care was extremely professional considering what happened, its a great example of training that has all come together.

          Seems to be SOP to toss out a stretcher as the WIA is loaded. They could still get more injured before they get back to base and need one.

            Actually, it is. But you'll note that the helo crewman tosses out a full-sized/fixed-pole stretcher to the infantry group, whilst the infantry used a more man-portable collapsible stretcher to get him to the helo.
            Driver, tracks, troops.... Drive and adjust!!
