There'll be a huge drop in bods if they get rid of grat, can't expect us to go to parade nights on our own dime all through the year just to get 7 days where you get taxed to the hilt, lose a weeks leave or make a massive loss not getting paid for the week.
Everyone who's ever loved you was wrong.

The Garda Reserve and Civil Defence experience has shown this not to be the case.

Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.

I get the feeling that Parade Nights are a thing of the past.

Integration was weekends and FTT, no Parade Nights - I expect the same here.

But if parade nights are going why are the 16 RDF barracks being kept, some are used for ATCP roles but other than that there'll be no need for them!

Of course, but it shows people are willing to do the duties for no pay.

And of course you have to count in those that want to be soldiers and think that the RDF will get them there.

What is the requirements for Garda reserve to receive grat? How much do they receive?
"The Question is not: how far you will take this? The Question is do you possess the constitution to go as far as is needed?"

Not where they were previously paid. ATCA should be voluntary I think.
