  • No more Israeli made kit?

Ireland should boycott Israeli military goods after buying almost €3m worth during the past three years, Sinn Féin has demanded.

As usual, the shinners are jumping up and down about the fact we get some of our kit from Israel. Given their absolutely disgraceful performance on the world stage, it seems that embargos are inevitable.

With that in mind, do we have alternative suppliers for current Israeli made kit?
Are we still getting drones from Elbit/ Aeronautics Defence Systems Limited ?
Do RBR still provide helmets or are we still using an Israeli made one?
Where does the ammo come from?

What else do we use that is Israeli?
For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

Small arms ammo, I believe, is also Israeli supplied. Although I am open to correction on that

I seem to recall the ammo deal was scrapped after Mossad was exposed for using Irish passports to murder suspects.

Don't understand why we where buying of them in the first place when there are other closer suppliers in Europe.

why boycott a country just because it uses force to defend itself against terrorists??

an embargo against Russia is more justified.

Ah, an embargo on the motherland would not sit well with the pinkos.

There was nothing purchased by the DF from Israeli companies that couldn't of been procured elsewhere.

It would be great to see Ireland taking measures, a number of other countries have already or are planning to do so.

Why boycott the only successful democracy in the Middle East?

Like Sinn Fein are ones that can stand up to scrutiny...

Both sides are at fault, and IMHO the only reason the Israelis are getting so much international condemnation is because they are proving so much more efficient than Hamas at it. If Hamas had access to the kit, they would be doing the exact same, or worse.

'He died who loved to live,' they'll say,
'Unselfishly so we might have today!'
                Like hell! He fought because he had to fight;
He died that's all. It was his unlucky night.

A democracy or not, it has committed multiple war crimes, violations of international law and violations of UNSCR's. Don't forget Hamas was democratically elected too although we don't buy any military equipment of them.

Not to mention giving the UNSC two fingers since 1978 and UNSCR 425.

War crimes? Why aren't Hamas being charged with war crimes? The only crime is they're too good at defending themselves. The hypocrisy of David Norris and others is unbelievable, he's too busy to give attention seeking speeches on Iraq, Ukraine and other issues. Let's not forget that he'd be parted from his head if he brought his politics to Gaza.

I don't think Norris can be criticised much, given that he has in the past been a Vocal Israeli supporter.

Are we still buying Palestinian rockets?

Why does everybody kick off when the JEWS hit back. Russia can do what it likes in Chechnya and the Crimean, China in Tibet. Christians and Palo's and Kurds being wiped out in Syria.
Why is it different for a client state of America.? Did we adopt the Palo's or something
