    The Irish Guards Regimental Golf Team have been touring Ireland this week.

    Hosted by the Irish Defence Forces, they've played a number of Ireland's toughest courses, but the biggest challenge came when they went head to head with their Southern rivals in the annual competition' in County Kildare.

        There is actually more to it than just a name, it brings perks for the members of all Royal GCs (including the Curragh).

            From what I heard (I don't play golf and know next to nothing about it) - there is some kind of reciprocal relationship on fees (or something) between Royal GC's.
