Hi all. My 1st post and wonder if anyone can help.
My maternal grandfather turned out to be from Birmingham and arrived in Ireland with British Army. I believe the Royal Field Artillery who I think were in Dundalk around 1919 which is when he married my Gran, subsequently left the army and stayed in Ireland.

I'm 99% certain he was in the Royal Field Artillery but proving the difficult thing. I do know a friend of his was 100% Royal Field Artillery and said friend married Grans sister and grandad was best man.

I've seen an old post wherein someone said they know which British units were based where 1919-1922. Hopefully said info still available and will confirm which RFA brigade was in Dundlak.
