Would anyone know if the Gloster Meteor RA444 that visited Dublin to be demonstrated to the IAC was accompanied by a support aircraft at all? I have a photo of an Aer Lingus Constellation at the airport with a C-47 behind it which has an astrodome. it was suggested to me that this might be an RAF C-47 that arrived with the Meteor as civil Daks didn't have the astrodomes (or so I was told).
Thanks
Keith
