Mid-1993 for women joining the infantry units. Also late 1992/early 1993 for introduction of the 'FCÁ' flash.
1995 for first females on infantry Pots course. Are you sure about SINCGARS from '97? I was in charge of the '77 sets the bn were using on camp the following year. And the introduction of wet gear after 1997 was a massive deal.
Last but not least, don't see an entry for the date of the withdrawal of the wooly jumper with chest pocket following the 'self-inflicted injury' incident, Trellheim.
2013 - Haddington Road agreement cuts RDF pay by 10%. No discussion, or reason, is ever given.

In my unit we all got new tunics in time for the GOH at the end of a Pot Officer course held in ballincollig and reviewed by junior minister Dempsey. Those of us who still had maroon epaulettes for got new ones in a surprisingly painless transaction.
Singcars was still only rolling out to pdf in 1996. Rdf units were using it by 1999 though.
Pdf were training on the steyr in 1988. Our cadre were on conversion courses in 1989. It was selected in 86.
For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.
