    Another light weight SOF vehicle which the Dutch have adopted, not sure if they have used it in Mali but if so might be a chance for ARW to have a look at it performing.
    The design criteria the Dutch had was it should fit inside a CH-47 which mean it also fits into a C-27 but is still too large for a C-295.

      Just for a bit of perspective the German KSK has recently put out a tender to replace their similar vintage Serval SOV's

        Looks an interesting piece of kit.
        'He died who loved to live,' they'll say,
        'Unselfishly so we might have today!'
        Like hell! He fought because he had to fight;
        He died that's all. It was his unlucky night.

          Related to but not directly involving the SRV replacement...looks like Polaris have let the cat out of the bag officially about the MRZR being in service here..

          Polaris said current MRZR customers in Europe include Austria, the U.K., Denmark, Norway, Germany, Greece, France, Ireland, Portugal, Latvia and Slovakia.

            I don't suppose a MRZR will fit into a C295?

              It'll fit in a Chinook, surely a 295 is bigger?
              For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

                Delta. Not Alpha
                "Let us be clear about three facts. First, all battles and all wars are won in the end by the infantryman. Secondly, the infantryman always bears the brunt. His casualties are heavier, he suffers greater extremes of discomfort and fatigue than the other arms. Thirdly, the art of the infantryman is less stereotyped and far harder to acquire in modern war than that of any other arm." ------- Field Marshall Wavell, April 1945.

                    In fact up to three MRZR-D4's can be airlifted by a single C-295W. A single MRZR-D4 fits inside an NH90 TTH. Awesome little machines.

                      What about inside the C295 MPA?

                          That may depend on the interior configuration of the incoming C295 MPA's. Three workstations or five ect. Fully RoRo or fixed stations. There maybe space for a single vehicle but that would be sub-optimal because deploying four man ARW tactical patrols piecemeal and not a coherent tactical troop is not ideal. The ideal is to have a dedicated utility transport obviously. But seemingly the powers that be cannot get their heads around that at present.

                            Seems the Royal Marines are using the MRZR-D4 too,

                            Decent video on the vehicle here,
