Bolle goggles operate in the same manner as ESS ones; strap adjustment & lens changing is the same on both brands.
It's like saying Nike is better than Reebok, or Coke is better than Pepsi - it's a matter of personal preference.

Was in the Outdoor Adventure Store in Dublin at the weekend looking for Lowe Alpine Dryflo T-Shirts in green. They told me they don't have them at the moment cos Lowe Alpine are only contracted to supply them to the Army. The shop assistant said they will prolly get them in eventually cos there's a big demand.
Anyway does anyone know anywhere where you can buy Dryflo T-Shirts in green?
Not sure, but this might help??

"He is an enemy officer taken in battle and entitled to fair treatment."
"No, sir. He's a sergeant, and they don't deserve no respect at all, sir. I should know. They're cunning and artful, if they're any good. I wouldn't mind if he was an officer, sir. But sergeants are clever."
The Tech T's and Dry Flo are both excellent, the latter being the better of the two.
will you be able to get hoop bivi bags.
I know that SASS in the UK do the hooped tents, dunno if this is whatOriginally Posted by MORTAR DAN
you're talking about or not... Maybe FMolloy will get 'em in the store, they'd
be a sight better than pitching a tent using a poncho, anyway...
Had the idea of wearing kneepads on tactics. Haven't gotten the chance to try it out yet, has anybody tried it?
To close with and kill the enemy in all weather conditions, night and day and over any terrain
I use them for FIBUA but I don't see the point when you are in a field. They'd probably come off when you're crawling.

Hooped bivi - try a cheap 1 man tent, you can fit all your kit it in, but I prefer the basha/poncho and light small civvy green sleeping bag with bivi bag.
As for knee pads, i know of people who have sewn "Snickers" knee pads from builders work trousers into their combat trousers.
i had to live in a one man tent for a good while on patrols and after a while its not comfortable, mozie dome and basha are perfect for dry weather and simply use a bivie bag for wet

I wore one(shemagh) in Kilworth during the recent cold snap during a day on the range(snow included),and apart from the odd bit of annoying fluff in the mouth,it was fantastic.
I bought mine from the IMO store...
