No. A groyne is a protective structure. This was a wooden causeway, more like a bridge. The water flowed under it.

yes, you insist the NS own the west wall. They don't, there are marine transport vessels tied up alongside it and the michael martin seems to think there will be a marina there. the navy should have the west wall but the fact is it is too valuable an asset to be given away by a government that puts no value in being able to execise its jurisdiction over its sea area.Originally posted by Goldie fishComment

It appears unchanged the last time I was down. The main work is being done clearing the fall zone of all debris.
When it does come down there will be photos. End of the month according to security.
