Not quite a bullshit job. Ebay seller has it mixed up.

It's wrong army. Looks to be the uniform for a Royal Irish Hussars Lance Corporal.

          • You are both correct. The uniforms are very different. Photo is the Irish army blue hussars uniform.

            • Using google translate on the webpage he doesn't use the phrase Blue Hussars. It is referred to as the Irish Hussars

              • He does mention Dublin though which is only adding to the confusion. I don't think he knows what he's selling!

There was an avenue explored in the 90's to re launch the Blue Huzzars as a horse mounted unit with similar grab from the past and at least one uniform was made. Its came to nothing.

Everyone who's ever loved you was wrong.

They are made by a French company called Argueyrolles.

                          Size 13 only - all out of size 11, 12, 14,16 and 17....
'He died who loved to live,' they'll say,
'Unselfishly so we might have today!'
                          Like hell! He fought because he had to fight;
He died that's all. It was his unlucky night.

I knew a simple soldier boy.....
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.

In winter trenches, cowed and glum,
With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
He put a bullet through his brain.
And no one spoke of him again.

You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.
