Good luck with that! eBay are not exactly quick at removing items these days.

        • Takes two seconds lads, pop on the link and report it, no point people getting in a twist over it and contacting him, if ebay get a few dozen reports on this item it should be acted upon pretty quickly

No grounds to report the seller for anything.

As the seller of the Irish Desert Smock is located in the UK

and he is NOT breaking any U.K. laws by offering this item for sale.

If the seller was living in the Irish Republic then he would be breaking an Irish Law.

And could be pulled up for it.

Whoever he got it off did not have permission to give it to him, it is therefore stolen and he is handling stolen goods.

Doubt it, this guy is based in Gloucester and has a shop on e-bay, FFS he has about 5 smocks and any amount of BDU. He obviously has a contact somewhere, I heard a yarn that he gets kit arriving back from " overseas" that is then repaired and sold on as a job lot. Even has one of the newer pattern Goretex smocks

The onus is on being able to pove that he knew they were stolen,

as it stands he has not broken any U.K. Law at this point in time.

So who will be the first off to report this to the G.S.

so they can take it up with their counterports over the pond.?

Thats because Desert pattern smocks are rarely if seldom seen.

                        Hence the inflated price!

It doesn't have to be proven that he knew they were stolen, if he was reckless as to whether the goods were stolen he would be guilty of handling. The fact that he is aware of Irish law with regard to the sale of DF clothing would indicate that he should be aware of the illegality of the clothing's transfer in the first place, ergo he is reckless as to the clothing's origin.

Does anyone know what the "official" desert pattern is?
