      The reason why I was asking was, that, a friend of mine is to be posted out there in Oct 07 for a 6 month tour.

        Are there HQ/admin staff from the Lebanon force based in Cyprus?

              some ding batt decided to cancel our participation in our longest continous overseas mission for some ding bat reason

              UNFICYP was seen by both senior officers and Ncos as a great last hurrah swan song

              but the said idiots decided to cacel it

              Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
              Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
              The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere***
              The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
              The best lack all conviction, while the worst
              Are full of passionate intensity.
