          Alan, that explains a few things. I have the pics of the helo's in three different liveries. But I couldn't remember where the yellow ones took place. Must be old age!

                      Thats true. Saw him bounce the helo across the deck on a few occasions. When I get back I'll post some of him! A real test pilot he was!

                        I remember talking to the Test Pilot and after asking me did I want to go for a spin he then came out with a statement like, "you do know that these machines are not meant to fly"

                        I am glad that people are enjoying this thread, this is why I joined here, not to talk about stuff that will mean nothing to me but to chat about the past and the good times as well as remembering comrades, both living and dead in a positive and well meaning way.

                        I will be posting a few more pictures from further back off Grainne and Aoife, these will or should stir up some long forgotten memories for some of you.

                          Which cabin is that?

                          I lived in two different ones..511 and 514..

                          Hard to believe that was almost twenty five years ago.
