If open to the public, ring and check the opening times.

Info on opening times etc at http://www.curragh.info/museum.htm. The Sliabh na mBan exhibition is new and also includes a Peerless twin turreted armoured car and an 18 pdr field gun. There is also plenty of information about the RR armoured cars and the ambush at Beal na Blath around the walls. The rest of the museum is also well worth a visit. No problem with visiting during opening hours, just go in. It is on the left down the hill from the Watertower, past he Post Office and about 100 m.

Ring the Curragh museum first to ensure it is open.

                Depends on staff availability.
