What is the most suitable type of Body Armour, what is the current issue to the PDF and can you buy these type. Or is true that it is illegal in Ireland to own body armour.

Not too sure about the legality of it.
During the recent "trouble" in Limerick city one of those involved was arrested for possession of some type of body armour. Why is it illegal? I would have thought it was purely defencive.
I seem to recall that the BA in Northern Ireland used to wear their armour under their smock to make them look less confrontational.Sigs - No amps, no volts = no interest -
I think the purchase of personal body armour goes under the category of guichi kit.Comment
