no i was only on the honour guard a sad time but sadly only 3 years later we were back at the same place to lay to rest a/mech danny oneill oreilly who drowned in cork harbour and then we had a/sea jerry diskin who died during diving training all young lads from the eithne it rattled all of us during that period and maybe some lads could have done with some counseling to aid the grief process as you know how close lads get to know each other on ships..anyway if anyone has pictures of the above .. and may they all R.I.P.
