Philip passed away peacefully at Cork University Hospital on 11th October, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Ita (née O'Connell) and much loved father of Niall and Ciara, daughter-in-law Ann-Maire, extended family and friends.

Posted on this site for some time as Gunner.

Proud to have considered him a friend, an instructor and a mentor. There was nothing motorcycle related he didn't know. His home in Watergrasshill was often a sub-HQ for 3 Cav, and later 31RCS. His neighbours were quite used to convoys of armoured vehicles rolling up outside his door in the middle of an ex. Usually when a roadside repair was required, because Phil had the mancave of dreams.

For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

    RIP soldier
"Well, stone me! We've had cocaine, bribery and Arsenal scoring two goals at home. But just when you thought there were truly no surprises left in football, Vinnie Jones turns out to be an international player!" (Jimmy Greaves)!"
