    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere***
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity.

      The Re enactment element will be a multi-period affair from Roman times, through the Napoleonic wars, to the 1st Gulf War. Various re enactment groups will carry out mock engagements in a controlled environment.

      And the Irish army will be attending – with 62 Reserve Cavalry Squadron providing a Military Vehicles Display and 65 Infantry Battalion providing a Light Infantry Weapons Display as well as a Recruitment Stand.

      Highlights of the Salute Show

      Over 70 Military Vehicles including Tanks, Armoured Vehicles, Trucks, and Aircraft Cockpits – brought to you by the Irish Military Vehicles Group and the Waterford Military Vehicles Group as well as the Irish Army

      Artillery Exhibition from the Cavan & Leitrim Railway Private Museum
      Live Battle re enactments from Battle Group South, Connaught Rangers The Great War Society and others

          If you're not happy Hedgehog report the post, otherwise refrain from trying to drag the topic into another argument about re-enactors. Your views on the issue are well known & there's nothing to be gained by rehashing them. If you don't want to go then don't, but if you've nothing to add on the topic of this show then don't post.

            You spoke your mind at length in an earlier thread, we know what you have to say. We can read the old thread.

            This is a different subject which you are attempting to drag off topic, a skill which you have mastered so well.

              wonder how many bum student members will turn up in uniform to avoid paying the €12 fee at the door! The weapons display stand is going to be fun...with all the anoraks quoting back manual specs if an unfortunate gets a their measurements a milimeter off!

                            I think it's just a vehicle display from the Cav...... That's only me guessing though.
