Nick has the advantage of actual service on Irish AFVs and then his service in the US Army on the Abrams, whereas I don't know of HD ever serving in anyone's army. So,to me,they complement each other.

Don't get me wrong - I really like Nick Moran's work and he has the added benefit of including the "out takes" in his videos for a bit of a laugh. He's very knowledgeable but, as far as I'm aware, he hasn't published any historical works unlike Hilary Doyle. (For full disclosure I've met Hilary Doyle and he's far from smug - he does, however, have a very distant, academic air which doesn't lend itself to video).
The advantage Nick has, as stated before, is that he's served so, when commenting on the ergonomics of any AFV, he speaks from experience.“The nation that will insist on drawing a broad line of demarcation between the fighting man and the thinking man is liable to find its fighting done by fools and its thinking done by cowards.”

As you say Hiliary Doyle doesnt lend himself to video. Mr Moran has recently published a book on tank destroyers https://www.amazon.com/Can-Openers-D.../dp/1635618592

He died that's all. It was his unlucky night.

I didn't think it warranted it's own thread so I thought I'd put it here, an old clip from the 1960's of an exercise in the Glen with Comet's, Landsverk AC's and a Churchill:
