I found this crowd in Fort Benning. At least one of them is here on IMO.

I thought they did quite well for a first crack at the competition (Gainey Cup). The Dutch team won it, the Irish came in 11th. They felt they should have done better, though, so I expect them to come back with a bit of a vengeance in two years' time. They only had a few weeks to train up. They weren't allowed use their AUGs, I asked the LTC in charge of the competition about it, and he said he wanted a level playing field for everyone, and they were given a week to get spun up on the M4 with drill sergeants.

I wonder if HK416s would have been allowed? The next group could borrow some from our beardies!

Can confirm there was some surprise to a US Lt Col with a Cavalry Glengarry showing up to say hello to the lads!

I hear they owe you a few rounds in return when you're next over California Tanker!
