Stems from Armoured cars..we have always had armoured cars of some description, the Cav have always distinguished between Saloon Cars....and Armoured cars...
So cars is generic.
Some had tried to introduce terminology such as TCVs,4x4 ,4x2 but being Irish you will know that we only have one type..a 'lurry'.. being it Mercedes LDV,Bedford , Iveco...its a Lurry...posh people will say Lorry and those really in the know call them trucks.
I won't even go in to Jeeps......

Not sure what advantage the 30mm RWS provides. You are still losing 2 passenger seats, and you have gained overall height dramatically. Thats a very tall vehicle.
