  • Interesting that they're called 'Cars'
    We call the Strykers 'Trucks'.

And the words the young gunner is looking for are 'Defeat', 'Destroy' or 'Service' the target.

    NTM
Driver, tracks, troops.... Drive and adjust!!

    • Interesting that they're called 'Cars'
Stems from Armoured cars..we have always had armoured cars of some description, the Cav have always distinguished between Saloon Cars....and Armoured cars...

      So cars is generic.

Some had tried to introduce terminology such as TCVs,4x4 ,4x2 but being Irish you will know that we only have one type..a 'lurry'.. being it Mercedes LDV,Bedford , Iveco...its a Lurry...posh people will say Lorry and those really in the know call them trucks.

I won't even go in to Jeeps......

You mean 3/4 tonne truck? Or FFR?

Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.

                    • Not sure what advantage the 30mm RWS provides. You are still losing 2 passenger seats, and you have gained overall height dramatically. Thats a very tall vehicle.
For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

                        Cheers

was trying to find out how it compares to 90mm

seems it’s APFSDS performance is similar to that of Cockerill CSE90LP

the Cockerill LCTS90MP (Mk8) has much better performance but the Belgian’s say it doesn’t work
