remember budget.... cut flying hours cut naval patrols joke of a country our coast is wide open even more shocking .......

Because they were too busy flying politians around to look at the floods

Im not in any way criticizing the AerCorps - but just watched the news, animal feed being delivered by sub-aqua clubs.

I remember years ago - maybe 82 - allouettes being used to drop animal feed to isolated herds in a very hard winter.

With the flooding in East Galway and other areas, I really feel they should be doing that now.

I mean, its more worthwhile than flying around junior ministers

yes i would like to hear why our shiny choppers were not used for that as all other parts of defence was used... have they got the gear for it now
